Checking in (Caravans and Motorhomes)

Please check…

  • that we have the email address and phone number that you can access while on holiday.
  • you’ve provided your vehicle registration(s) before arrival. Our ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) barrier won’t allow access without it.
  • all guests are added to your booking before your visit.

The day before

Wait for your Check-in email at 7pm on the evening before your stay.

  • Check your pitch number and locate it on the park map using the link.
  • Check that the vehicle registration(s) we have on file are correct. They will be displayed in the email.
  • This email will include useful contact information, so please keep it to hand.

Arriving at Swiss Farm

Check in from 1pm

  • First-time guests – If you are new to the park, we recommend visiting the reception to check in. We can assist you with any questions and provide valuable information to support your stay.
  • Returning guests – If you are familiar with the park and are happy to find your own pitch, please feel free to enter the park without coming to reception. A friendly warden will visit you in the afternoon to check that you have everything you need.

Access

Entering the park

  • The barrier will recognise the car registration you have provided and will lift automatically (only after 1 pm)
  • Please maintain a speed of 5 miles per hour (mph) at all times.
  • Please do not drive to or from your pitch between 11 pm and 8 am.
  • The 2m Height barrier restricts high-sided vehicles’ access between 10 pm and 8 am (winter months only)

Settling in

Setting up

  • Ensure you are on the correct pitch.
  • Keep caravan/motorhome, awning and car on the gravel area (if on an all-weather or fully serviced pitch)
  • Feel free to park your caravan or motorhome in any orientation, provided everything fits within the gravel pitch.
  • For grass pitches, the wooden number peg is at the centre of the pitch. Please ensure there is at least 3 metres between your equipment and the neighbouring pitch to maintain a safe fire break.
  • Park additional vehicles in the car park. Please note that commercial vehicles are not permitted on the park unless by prior arrangement for setup purposes. They must be parked in the car park next to the reception.

If you have chosen a ‘non-awning’ pitch but would like to put up an awning or porch, then you may need to park your car in the main car park unless you can fit within the gravel area.

Late arrivals

  • If you’re arriving after reception hours (5:30 pm), please call our team on the morning of your arrival — we’ll ensure you have everything you need for a seamless self-check-in.

Setting up

  • Choose your preferred pitch from any that are available
  • Find the white markers on the low wooden fence — your pitch measures 15m x 15m. Please set up your tent and vehicle within these markers, leaving at least 3 metres of space between you and the next pitch.
  • Our electric hook-up points are designed for use with a mains mobile power unit, which is not supplied. Please ensure you have the correct equipment to connect safely to our power system. Please ask if unsure.
  • Please note our guidelines for group bookings. You can view our group policy [here].
  • Park additional vehicles in the car park. Please note that commercial vehicles are not permitted on the park unless by prior arrangement for setup purposes. They must be parked in the car park next to the reception.

How to book

Bookings open 24 hours before each session

  • Use the link in your email or the QR codes around the park to access the booking system.
  • Exactly 24 hours before your preferred session, pool places will be released.
  • Fill in all the required information and choose the number of guests you wish to use the pool.

Please read carefully before booking

  • To ensure fair use, guests may book one session per day.
  • Available exclusively to overnight guests with a full booking
  • Please include your holiday booking reference when reserving your pool session.
  • Please only book pool sessions for guests included in your own booking, not for those listed under a different booking reference.
  • Please only book pool sessions during your confirmed stay — bookings outside of your check-in and check-out times aren’t permitted.

Pool Rules

Keeping the Pool Area Safe and Enjoyable for All

  • No diving, running, jumping, fighting, pushing, rough play, bombing, ducking or throwing bathers.
  • No large inflatables
  • No inappropriate language or behaviour
  • No throwing of objects (balls, rockets etc.)
  • No unsupervised children under the age of 16
  • No Smoking, food, glass or alcoholic drinks in the pool area
  • No loose jewellery should be worn
  • No diving bricks are to be used.
  • T-shirts are not allowed whilst swimming.
  • No flippers, face masks or snorkels to be used
  • Customers must not enter the pool if they have any infectious diseases or skin complaints.
  • No excessive underwater swimming or hyperventilation (continuous lengths underwater):’Hyperventilation’ does not, in fact, increase oxygen but instead reduces carbon dioxide, which would otherwise stimulate breathing. This can cause bathers trying to swim distances underwater to lose consciousness without warning

The Farm Kitchen Cafe

The Farm Kitchen Café offers fresh coffee, cooked meals, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly service, and themed evenings including fish and chips.

Convenient On-site Shop

Our reception and on-site shop are conveniently located at the park entrance, providing a friendly welcome, helpful information, and everyday essentials for your stay.

Swimming Pool

Our outdoor heated pool is open during the warmer months, offering a relaxing spot to swim, unwind, or enjoy the sunshine with family and friends

Dog Walking & Dog Wash

Our dedicated dog walk runs along the edge of the park, offering a safe, scenic space for your four-legged companions to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors.

Childrens Play Area

Our two on-site playgrounds cater to different age groups, with a safe, enclosed area for younger children and a larger adventure zone for older kids up to 15.

Beautiful Landscaped Grounds

Our grounds are carefully maintained to a high standard, with landscaped gardens, mature planting, and clean open spaces that contribute to the park’s calm, relaxed atmosphere.

FAQs

Sadly, no – a private members’ club sits between the park and the town, so riverside access isn’t possible from here. It is, however, a short, flat route along the Marlow Road with a safe pavement the whole way.

No code needed—our barrier uses ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and will automatically open for registered vehicles. Just make sure we have the correct number plate before you arrive for a smooth check-in.

Customers tell us that they do not like to be placed next to work vans and the various park inspection organisations penalise us for allowing them on to the park.

Yes, you’re welcome to arrange deliveries during your stay. To keep the park safe and quiet:

  • All deliveries must be made to the reception area.

  • Delivery vehicles are not permitted past the barrier.

  • If you’re expecting a delivery, please let reception know in advance and arrange to meet the driver by the barrier.

For everyone’s safety and comfort, we ask that vehicles are not driven on the park between 11 pm and 8 am.

During these times, the barrier will remain closed. If you arrive late or need to return after 11 pm, please park in the visitors’ car park and walk to your pitch.

This helps keep the park quiet and restful overnight, ensuring a good night’s sleep for all our guests.

Sorry, we don’t allow amplified music on the park. This helps keep the atmosphere peaceful and enjoyable for all our guests.

Yes, day visitors are welcome during your stay. A small charge applies:

  • Booking & responsibility

    • Day visitors must be booked in by the lead guest (the person named on the main camping or accommodation booking) before entering the park.

    • The lead guest is responsible for their visitors at all times.

    • Any visitors linked to a booking must be aware of the same terms and conditions as the booking itself.

  • Times & charges

    • Day visitors are permitted between 10 am – 6 pm.

      • Adults: £3.50

      • Children: £2.00

      • Car parking – £1 Per hour (max charge £4) 
  • Vehicles & parking

    • Visitor vehicles must be parked in the visitors’ car park.

    • Vehicles must be removed if the visitor leaves the park.

    • No visitor vehicles are allowed past the barrier without management’s express permission.

  • Other rules

    • Unauthorised visitors will be asked to leave the park. This may also jeopardise your current or future bookings and may not be covered by our public liability insurance in the event of an accident.

    • Day visitors are not permitted to use the swimming pool.

Yes, BBQs are welcome on site. We just ask that you use them responsibly and ensure they don’t cause smoke or disturbance to other guests. Please keep them raised off the ground and never leave them unattended.
