Some Common FAQ’s.
Listed below are a series of questions that we are frequently asked.
We have tried to make it easy by categorising each question but if there’s something we haven’t listed that you have a question or concern about, please feel free to get in touch with us.
It is not possible to live in caravans due to site licence restrictions.
We will require proof of permanent address for longer bookings.
You are welcome to receive a food delivery. We just ask that you inform reception in advance and meet with the delivery driver by reception. Delivery vehicles must not enter the park.
We will be happy to charge these for you free of charge in the cafe.
Only available during cafe opening hours.
We strongly recommend booking well in advance, especially during May through to September, plus for special events as we fill up very quickly.
Yes we welcome BBQ’s, as long as they are used carefully and kept off the ground to avoid damaging the grass.
During dry weather conditions, we may restrict the use of BBQ’s for safety reasons. Please note we do not allow open fires or firepits.

We do not sell caravans or site customer’s static caravans.
We do however have our own fleet of caravans for hire.
Unfortunately we do not have the facility to store caravans.
Please look at www.ukcampsite.co.uk for storage listings in your area.
To keep you safe and legal you will need to bring with you a ‘mobile mains power unit’ which retail at around £50 – £80.
Please do not make up your own lead or use leads without adequate protection!
We are only 10 minutes from the town centre on foot.
Touring Park:
Check-in time is after 1 pm and Check-out is before 12:00 noon.
Holiday Caravans and Cabins:
Check-in time is after 16:00 (4pm) and Check-out is 10:00.
Please allow half an hour in case the previous customer is running late.
We recommend parking at Twyford train station (approx. 10 minute drive) and getting a direct train to Paddington (approx. 40 minutes).
Alternatively you can walk to Henley station (approx. 20 minute walk). Trains go every 30 minutes.
21:00 (9.00pm) is the latest check in time.
This is to avoid disturbing other guests.
We now welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs throughout the season.
We ask that you keep dogs on a lead at all times and pick up after them.
Waitrose:
10 minutes walk in town centre.
Sainsbury local:
10 minutes walk.
Tesco:
5 minutes by car.
Ice blocks can be placed in our freezer located in the dishwashing room in our main facility block.
This service is free of charge.
Sorry our license does not allow touring caravans, motor homes and campervans other than on the main site.
Customers tell us that they do not like to be placed next to work vans and the various park inspection organisations penalise us for allowing them on to the park.
Weekends are our busiest time and we are often full, especially from May – September.
The majority of our customers like to stay for 2 nights and they would not be able to do so if we filled pitches with one night bookings.
We allow a maximum of 2 families or pitches under one booking.
Forming a group without the consent of park management may result in early termination of your booking.
