Tiger nuts, peanuts, or hemp
Boilies

Do I need a licence?
Yes, a valid rod licence is required. This can be easily obtained online before your visit.
Yes, pup tents are allowed, but with a few conditions:
They are for young children only.
On touring pitches, the pup tent must be kept on the gravel area.
In the tent field, it must stay within your pitch boundary.
Pup tents are not permitted with glamping stays or holiday caravan hire.
The tent must be no larger than a small 2-person tent. (Max 2m x 2m)
No, but small, well-managed firepits are permitted, as long as:
They are raised well off the ground
They have a secure lid and a way to extinguish them
They are always supervised when lit and fully extinguished when not in use
They do not pose a danger or cause a nuisance to other guests
This way, you can enjoy the warmth of a fire while keeping everyone safe and comfortable.
For safety and compliance, you’ll need to bring a mobile mains power unit, which typically costs around £50–£80.
Please don’t use homemade leads or any equipment without proper protection, as this can be unsafe. The right power unit will ensure you can connect easily and enjoy electricity in your tent with complete peace of mind.
Yes. All pitch sizes are shown on our interactive map when booking. If your unit is larger than the maximum pitch available for your dates, we won’t be able to accommodate it. (Max size 10m)
If you’re unsure whether your caravan or motorhome will fit, please get in touch with our friendly team—we’ll be happy to advise before you book.
From 2026, we’ll be introducing a fair use electricity allowance. This means:
Every booking will include an allowance for typical, reasonable use of electricity.
If usage goes above this allowance, the extra will be charged at the same rate we are charged—nothing more.
This change ensures fairness: guests using normal amounts of electricity aren’t subsidising those who use excessive power. It helps us keep costs balanced and the park running smoothly for everyone.

No, living in caravans on-site isn’t permitted under our site licence.
For longer bookings, we do ask guests to provide proof of a permanent residential address. This helps us keep in line with our licence and ensures the park remains a holiday destination for everyone to enjoy.
Yes! When you book online for 5 nights or more, you’ll be able to use our ‘Pick a Pitch’ feature (£2.50 per day). This lets you select the exact pitch you’d like from our site map, so you can stay in your favourite spot or try somewhere new.
For shorter stays, pitches are allocated by our team to ensure the smoothest arrival experience for all guests—but rest assured, every pitch is spacious, well-maintained, and close to our excellent facilities.
If you have a preference (near the lake, shaded areas, easy access, etc.), you’re welcome to mention it when booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Yes, you’re welcome to arrange deliveries during your stay. To keep the park safe and quiet:
All deliveries must be made to the reception area.
Delivery vehicles are not permitted past the barrier.
If you’re expecting a delivery, please let reception know in advance and arrange to meet the driver by the barrier.
For everyone’s safety and comfort, we ask that vehicles are not driven on the park between 11 pm and 8 am.
During these times, the barrier will remain closed. If you arrive late or need to return after 11 pm, please park in the visitors’ car park and walk to your pitch.
This helps keep the park quiet and restful overnight, ensuring a good night’s sleep for all our guests.
