Swimming pool

Booking your pool session at Swiss Farm is easy. A few days before your arrival, you’ll receive a welcome email with a booking link. Sessions open 24 hours in advance, so we recommend setting a reminder—spaces can go quickly, especially during busy periods. During your stay, you can also use the QR codes displayed around the park to book your session with just a quick scan.

Booking the pool helps us manage numbers and keep the area safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone. It ensures there’s plenty of space for a relaxed swim without overcrowding. It also helps our team keep track of usage and maintain a peaceful environment for all our guests.

At most times, it’s only possible to book one swim session per day to make sure everyone gets a fair chance to enjoy the pool. On quieter days, a second session may be available—please ask at reception. During less busy periods, we may keep the pool open all day without set sessions, but we still ask that you book once so we have your details registered.

For health and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed in the pool area. We want to keep the space safe, clean, and enjoyable for all our guests.

To keep the pool area clean and safe for everyone, food and drink aren’t permitted in or around the pool. However, you’re welcome to bring water in a plastic bottle to stay hydrated.

To keep the pool comfortable and avoid overcrowding, it’s reserved exclusively for our overnight guests. Unfortunately, day visitors aren’t permitted to use the pool.

Yes, the pool is heated to a comfortable 26–28°C throughout the swimming season, so you can enjoy a relaxing dip whatever the weather.

Regatta

Yes, the Henley Regatta is one of our busiest times of the year, and we often reach full capacity. We strongly recommend booking early to avoid disappointment, as we’ve had to turn guests away in previous years.

No, sorry – sleeping in your car is not permitted for safety and site licensing reasons. Please speak to our team if you need help arranging suitable accommodation.

Yes, absolutely. Just bring your phone to reception or the café, and we’ll be happy to charge it for you.

It depends on where you’re staying. General camping in Fields 1 and 3 has a separate parking area nearby, while Field 2 and the Touring Park include space for one car per pitch. If you need extra parking, just let us know – additional spaces may be available on request.

During Henley Regatta, we set up a dedicated ‘powder tent’ for guests to get ready in comfort. It’s equipped with seating, mirrors, hairdryers, and plug sockets for straighteners or curlers – perfect for preparing for a day by the river.

Our on-site wardens are available 24/7 to help with any issues, including noise. Just call the warden’s number listed in your welcome pack, and a member of the team will respond quickly and discreetly, so no need to worry about any awkwardness or repercussions.

Camping

If you’re arriving between 5:30pm and 9:00pm, just let us know in advance and we’ll provide instructions for self-check-in. Unfortunately, we can’t accept arrivals after 9:00pm—but if you’re delayed and can’t avoid a late arrival, we do have a designated later arrivals area where you can park overnight and check in properly the following morning.

Yes, (tent area only) fire pits are allowed, but only if they are raised off the ground and used safely. They must be kept well away from vehicles and any flammable materials, and should never be left unattended. Please ensure fires are fully extinguished after use. Open fires directly on the ground are not permitted, and we ask all guests to be mindful of smoke and their neighbours. If in doubt, check with our team before lighting up.

  • They are raised well off the ground

  • They have a secure lid and a way to extinguish them

From 2026, we’ll be introducing a fair use electricity allowance. This means:

  • Every booking will include an allowance for typical, reasonable use of electricity.

  • If usage goes above this allowance, the extra will be charged at the same rate we are charged—nothing more.

This change ensures fairness: guests using normal amounts of electricity aren’t subsidising those who use excessive power. It helps us keep costs balanced and the park running smoothly for everyone.

For shorter stays, pitches are allocated by our team to ensure the smoothest arrival experience for all guests—but rest assured, every pitch is spacious, well-maintained, and close to our excellent facilities.

If you have a preference (near the lake, shaded areas, easy access, etc.), you’re welcome to mention it when booking, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in most areas of the park, including the café conservatory and garden, the shop, and around the grounds. However, we kindly ask that you don’t take dogs into the pool area, playgrounds, or inside any accommodation or facility blocks.

Absolutely! We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs per pitch. With spacious on-lead and off-lead walking areas, a free dog wash, drinking stations, and dog waste bins with complimentary poo bags, your furry friend will feel right at home. Plus, every pup gets a little welcome gift on arrival.
