FAQs (Touring park)

If you’re arriving between 5:30pm and 9:00pm, just let us know in advance and we’ll provide instructions for self-check-in. Unfortunately, we can’t accept arrivals after 9:00pm—but if you’re delayed and can’t avoid a late arrival, we do have a designated later arrivals area where you can park overnight and check in properly the following morning.

We don’t offer traditional seasonal pitches, but we can provide extended stays for couples looking for a longer stay. Please speak to our team for more details – we’re happy to help.

No, awnings must stay within your allocated pitch space. Placing them on the grass between pitches would breach our site licence and fire safety regulations. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.

No, tents must be pitched in the designated tent field only, in line with our site licence restrictions. Touring pitches are reserved for caravans, motorhomes, and campervans.

No, our facility blocks remain open during cleaning. Our team works carefully to keep everything clean and tidy while ensuring guests can continue to use the facilities without disruption.

TV reception can be limited on the park, but don’t worry – each serviced pitch has a TV booster point on the bollard that you’re welcome to use. You’ll just need a 10m TV cable, which is available to purchase from reception if needed.

Henley-on-Thames is just a 10–15 minute walk from the park, with a scenic and level route that’s easy to follow. Perfect for a stroll into town for shops, cafés, or a riverside wander.

Gazebos are generally not permitted on the touring park to help maintain space and safety for all guests. If you have a specific need or request, please speak to a member of our team – exceptions may be possible in some cases.

Yes, all water from the pitch bollards and standpipes is safe to drink. However, please avoid drinking from the taps in the facility rooms, as this water is not potable.

Our on-site wardens are available 24/7 to help with any issues, including noise. Just call the warden’s number listed in your welcome pack, and a member of the team will respond quickly and discreetly, so no need to worry about any awkwardness or repercussions.

You’re welcome to set up your unit however you like, as long as it’s fully within the gravel area of your pitch.

Waitrose: 10 10-minute walk in the town centre.Sainsbury local: 10 minutes walk.Tesco: 5 minutes by car

Yes. All pitch sizes are shown on our interactive map when booking. If your unit is larger than the maximum pitch available for your dates, we won’t be able to accommodate it. (Max size 10m)

If you’re unsure whether your caravan or motorhome will fit, please get in touch with our friendly team—we’ll be happy to advise before you book.

From 2026, we’ll be introducing a fair use electricity allowance. This means:

  • Every booking will include an allowance for typical, reasonable use of electricity.

  • If usage goes above this allowance, the extra will be charged at the same rate we are charged—nothing more.

This change ensures fairness: guests using normal amounts of electricity aren’t subsidising those who use excessive power. It helps us keep costs balanced and the park running smoothly for everyone.

Yes, pup tents are allowed, but with a few conditions:

  • They are for young children only.

  • On touring pitches, the pup tent must be kept on the gravel area.

  • In the tent field, it must stay within your pitch boundary.

  • Pup tents are not permitted with glamping stays or holiday caravan hire.

  • The tent must be no larger than a small 2-person tent. (Max 2m x 2m)

We’re a peaceful, family-run park, so we don’t allow large groups. To help maintain a relaxed atmosphere for everyone, we have strict limits on how many people can book together or form a group on site. This also applies to multiple families booking as one party. Ask a member of the team for details.

Yes, BBQs are welcome on site. We just ask that you use them responsibly and ensure they don’t cause smoke or disturbance to other guests. Please keep them raised off the ground and never leave them unattended.
