Each summer, just a short stroll from Swiss Farm, the Henley Royal Regatta transforms the town into a hub of world-class sport and celebration. As one of the most prestigious rowing events globally, it combines thrilling races with an unmistakable social buzz, attracting visitors from near and far. Whether you’re cheering from the riverbank, mingling at the enclosures, or simply enjoying the lively atmosphere in town, the Regatta is a highlight of the Henley calendar and a wonderful time to visit.

Camping runs from Monday 28 June to Sunday 4 July 2027, seven nights. During Henley Royal Regatta week, we offer camping across three separate fields, each with different facilities and atmospheres to suit your stay. Here’s what to expect:
Field 1 – Main Camping Area
Perfect for those who enjoy a lively, sociable atmosphere, Field 1 offers free camping with no allocated pitches. Some electric hook-ups are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and parking is located separately from tents. Expect a busier, more energetic environment here.
Field 2 – Quiet Camping (5+ Nights Only)
For a more relaxed stay, Field 2 provides allocated pitches with electric hook-up. This is a strictly quiet area, making it ideal if you’re looking for peace and calm. Guests can usually park one car beside their tent, space permitting. Additional parking is available on request. We cannot control noise from off the park (music from the Regatta etc.).
Field 3 – Quiet Non-Electric Area
If you prefer simplicity, Field 3 offers a back-to-basics experience with no electric hook-up. Parking is separate, and the ground is slightly sloping; noise levels are monitored for those who want a quieter, more traditional camping feel.
Booking Information
We recommend booking early, as gate prices are higher and availability is limited.
From the first day of the Regatta, gate prices apply and no further pre-bookings are taken.
Regatta payment terms
Regatta pitches are paid for in full four weeks before the event. A Regatta booking cannot be refunded or moved after that date, whether or not we re-let the pitch. The minimum stay on the touring park is 7 nights. On the tent fields it is 5 nights pre-booked and 2 nights at the gate. Camping prices are per person, per night. Our holiday caravans, shepherd’s huts and glamping cabins in Regatta week are booked on our accommodation booking terms. Our Park Rules, Terms & Conditions apply throughout the week.

All Regatta camping prices are per person, per night. Tents only. Minimum five nights pre-booked, minimum two nights at the gate.
See Regatta Touring Park prices below (Peak season) – a minimum 7-night stay is required. Please see details about the event if you haven’t visited us during the Regatta before. Please be aware that we operate very differently during this event. Noise levels can vary throughout the week – Expect some off-site background music and a busier, more energetic feel to the park. Ask a member of the team for details.
Touring pitch prices for Regatta week 2027. The same rate applies to every night of the week. Prices include two adults; anyone else in the party is charged per night at the rates below. Book online for the best availability.
Who can stay
Regatta camping is for over 21s: rowing supporters, crews and regatta staff. We may ask about your connection to the event when you book or when you arrive.
No day visitors
No day visitors are admitted during Regatta week. This applies to every pitch type, including the main park. Only the people named on the booking may come onto the park.
Wristbands
Everyone staying is issued a wristband on arrival. Wristbands are worn for the whole week and shown at the barrier, and we check them against photo ID.
Site rules for the week
Our Park Rules apply throughout, with three additions: no sleeping in vehicles, no open fires, and no amplified music after 11pm. Tents are pitched three metres apart unless they are part of the same group.
Departure
Departure is 12 noon. To stay on the park until 5pm, there is a charge of £5.
Holiday caravans, shepherd’s huts and glamping cabins
These are not booked on the Regatta camping rate. In Regatta week they are charged at the 2027 Peak rate, shown on the Holiday Homes, Shepherds Hut and Glamping pages.

Our well-kept grounds also feature a heated outdoor pool, children’s play area, dog-walking field, and a welcoming café, designed to make your stay as enjoyable and convenient as possible.
Very clean, tidy and well laid out site with modern toilet & shower facilities. Perfectly situated for a stroll or cycle into Henley.
It depends on where you’re staying. General camping in Fields 1 and 3 has a separate parking area nearby, while Field 2 and the Touring Park include space for one car per pitch. If you need extra parking, just let us know – additional spaces may be available on request.
