Camping (Tents)

During Henley Royal Regatta week, we offer camping across three separate fields, each with different facilities and atmospheres to suit your stay. Here’s what to expect:

Field 1 – Main Camping Area
Perfect for those who enjoy a lively, sociable atmosphere, Field 1 offers free camping with no allocated pitches. Some electric hook-ups are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and parking is located separately from tents. Expect a busier, more energetic environment here.

Field 2 – Quiet Camping (5+ Nights Only)
For a more relaxed stay, Field 2 provides allocated pitches with electric hook-up. This is a strictly quiet area, making it ideal if you’re looking for peace and calm. Guests can usually park one car beside their tent, space permitting. Additional parking is available on request. We cannot control noise from off the park (Music from the Regatta etc)

Field 3 – Quiet Non-Electric Area
If you prefer simplicity, Field 3 offers a back-to-basics experience with no electric hook-up. Parking is separate, and the ground is slightly sloping; noise levels are monitored for those who want a quieter, more traditional camping feel.

Booking Information
We recommend booking early, as gate prices are higher and availability is limited. Please note that when reservations first open, a minimum stay of 5 nights applies. This will be reduced closer to the event if spaces remain.

From the first day of the Regatta, gate prices apply, and no further pre-bookings are taken

FAQs

Sadly, no – a private members’ club sits between the park and the town, so riverside access isn’t possible from here. It is, however, a short, flat route along the Marlow Road with a safe pavement the whole way.

No code needed—our barrier uses ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and will automatically open for registered vehicles. Just make sure we have the correct number plate before you arrive for a smooth check-in.

Customers tell us that they do not like to be placed next to work vans and the various park inspection organisations penalise us for allowing them on to the park.

Yes, you’re welcome to arrange deliveries during your stay. To keep the park safe and quiet:

  • All deliveries must be made to the reception area.

  • Delivery vehicles are not permitted past the barrier.

  • If you’re expecting a delivery, please let reception know in advance and arrange to meet the driver by the barrier.

For everyone’s safety and comfort, we ask that vehicles are not driven on the park between 11 pm and 8 am.

During these times, the barrier will remain closed. If you arrive late or need to return after 11 pm, please park in the visitors’ car park and walk to your pitch.

This helps keep the park quiet and restful overnight, ensuring a good night’s sleep for all our guests.

Sorry, we don’t allow amplified music on the park. This helps keep the atmosphere peaceful and enjoyable for all our guests.

Yes, day visitors are welcome during your stay. A small charge applies:

  • Booking & responsibility

    • Day visitors must be booked in by the lead guest (the person named on the main camping or accommodation booking) before entering the park.

    • The lead guest is responsible for their visitors at all times.

    • Any visitors linked to a booking must be aware of the same terms and conditions as the booking itself.

  • Times & charges

    • Day visitors are permitted between 10 am – 6 pm.

      • Adults: £3.50

      • Children: £2.00

      • Car parking – £1 Per hour (max charge £4)
  • Vehicles & parking

    • Visitor vehicles must be parked in the visitors’ car park.

    • Vehicles must be removed if the visitor leaves the park.

    • No visitor vehicles are allowed past the barrier without management’s express permission.

  • Other rules

    • Unauthorised visitors will be asked to leave the park. This may also jeopardise your current or future bookings and may not be covered by our public liability insurance in the event of an accident.

    • Day visitors are not permitted to use the swimming pool.

Yes, BBQs are welcome on site. We just ask that you use them responsibly and ensure they don’t cause smoke or disturbance to other guests. Please keep them raised off the ground and never leave them unattended.
